Parent Therapy or Coaching

Parenting is a daily challenge.

Being a parent is hard work; there is no doubting that. Yes, parenting is also rewarding, but that doesn’t always take away from the challenges.

Frankly, some days are just straight hard, and you find yourself counting down the hours to bedtime.

Children are constantly growing, changing, and figuring out who they are, and as parents, we are there to support that growth while navigating all the changes.

Parenting can be emotionally and physically draining on the children and the parents.

Expectations create more stress for parents and children.

The expectations of parenthood are high, and we see those expectations all over social media.

We compare ourselves to others, even if we know it’s not always reality. We battle the expectations of others and our expectations.

These demands cause you to wonder.

Am I responding the right way to my child’s needs?

How do I retain their love while maintaining some level of discipline?

Should I worry if my child is not advancing as fast as other children their age?

Those questions only create more stress for everyone involved.

You don’t need to navigate parenting challenges alone.

Parent therapy and coaching are available to assist. During therapy, you as the parent will have assistance navigating these challenges, processing your emotions, and gaining healthy tools to work through them.

In addition, we will work together in parent coaching. We will have the ability to engage with one or both parents and children to work with the whole family system to obtain the most progress.

You will gain the confidence and ability to assist your child or children as they grow. We will model behavioral techniques to obtain the desired outcome, and you will have the tools to know what helps your child and be able to assist them in using their healthy coping skills.

Make the day more manageable, and enjoy your child’s life transitions. Therapy equips you with the ability to meet the challenges of parenting.

Let’s work with you and your family and make your parenting experience less challenging.

“Behind every young child who believes in himself is a parent who believed first.”
