About Me
Megan Sturdevant, CMHC
I work with both adults and children who are struggling emotionally and behaviorally, whether it’s anxiety, depression, trauma, or the challenges that arise as a result. For children, this may appear as tantrums, aggression, or other disruptive behaviors. For adults, it can manifest as anger, unhealthy coping mechanisms, or addictions—whether to substances, video games, or other distractions.
My passion lies in uncovering the root causes of these difficulties, exploring the behavioral patterns and coping mechanisms that have developed over time, and replacing them with healthier strategies to create a life of balance and peace. I provide a safe, supportive environment where individuals can do the deep, meaningful work needed to heal and grow.
I believe that our future is a blank slate—we have the power to shape our own story. But to move forward, we must first process past traumas and examine the core beliefs that influence our thoughts and behaviors.
